Objectives of the operation

This operation will equip Theatro Circo with technical equipment to address existing gaps, enabling a more qualified and effective response. This technical upgrade is essential for achieving the strategic objective of promoting culture and supporting artistic creation, while continually seeking new artistic trends and emerging talent, thereby contributing to an increase in cultural provision in the region.

The general objectives of the operation are:
(i) the acquisition of essential technical equipment for the programming of the Theatro Circo cultural venue;
(ii) the upgrading of technical equipment required for the programming of Theatro Circo;
(iii) the development of new capabilities within Theatro Circo.

Activities and expected/achieved results

An increase in visitors is expected in line with the planned expansion of programming, with an additional growth rate of 30% resulting from the acquisition of the technical equipment envisaged in this operation. The projected number of visitors was calculated based on the targets set out in the 2025 Activity Plan (37,883 visitors) and, taking into account the expected growth rate (30%), results in a total of 49,248.

This performance indicator represents an increase of 11,365 attendees in 2025, consistent with the estimated investment, and reflects the fact that the operation will enable the presentation of more complex productions, as well as the hosting of significant international productions.
