Main objective

This operation aims to promote and showcase significant cultural and heritage assets on a supra-municipal scale, particularly through networked initiatives, capable of enhancing spaces, routes and visitor experiences, through proposals of undeniable quality featuring nationally and internationally renowned artists.

Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results

“Caleidoscópio” is developed by the four municipalities involved (Fafe, Barcelos, Braga and Guimarães), with the aim of promoting, enhancing and giving visibility to a range of spaces and places—not only from the perspective of each municipality’s most well-known and iconic sites, but also by showcasing others of equal importance and relevance—through the creation of creative routes based on cultural production centres (Cine Teatro de Fafe, Theatro Gil Vicente in Barcelos, gnration in Braga and Palácio de Vila Flor in Guimarães).
